RIES GmbH has been founded on July 1st, 1981 by Mr. Gerhard A. Ries
By July 1st, 1981 a Sole Agency and Distribution contract for Germany and Austria was signed with Maneurop SA, a French Manufacturer of hermetic compressors and condensing units.
After more than 15 years of successful business for Maneurop SA, in which we succeeded to become Leader in hermetic compressors, in the range of 1,5 to 15 hp, Danfoss, Nordborg, as the new owner of Maneurop, took over these sales activities.
Since that time RIES GmbH is concentrating in sales and production of standard and special condensing units for air conditioning and refrigeration with various types of single or tandem compressors.
Our sales program contains also a wide but specialized range of refrigeration components for noise reduction and heat exchange and further equipments.
In the year 1999 we started a close relationship with MicroNova, an Italian manufacturer of air-conditioning, refrigeration and industrial controls. With these outstanding products we are covering successfully all German but also English speaking markets.
In Ventilation we are working close together with BORASA S.A., a Spanish manufacturer of competitive and high quality motors, axial and centrifugal fan units.
In 2005 we started a cooperation with one of the worldwide largest manufacturer of air conditioning equipment.
RIES GmbH is going to distribute these air conditioners under the brand name YAMA. This line follows our tradition in air conditioning which started long time ago with Frigidaire and KRONE.
RIES GmbH understands itself as a modern sales and distribution company with strong links to installers and wholesalers for refrigeration und air conditioning equipment.
Because of the specialized range of products our every day business includes close relations to small, middle and large OEM customers, in consulting and distribution which we attend to with high dedication.
